Delete your InterDuels account

From the app

1. Open InterDuels and sign in.
2. Tap the gear icon in the header to open “Settings”.
3. Scroll down to the “Account” section and tap “Delete account”.
4. Type DELETE to confirm and tap “Delete”.

The account is deleted right then and you are signed out. If you sign in with Apple, you will be asked to sign in when you confirm: that is how we also remove the Sign in with Apple access.

Without the app, by email

Write to us from the email address you created the account with, with the subject “Delete account” and your InterDuels username. If you signed up with Apple and hid your email, the username is enough.

We delete the account within 30 days of receiving the request and confirm it by email. We may first ask you for some detail to check that the account is yours.

What is deleted

• Your credentials: email, password and the Google or Apple sign-ins. For Apple, Sign in with Apple is also revoked.
• Your profile data: first name, last name, username, bio, city, date of birth, gender, weight, height and academy.
• Your profile photo and any copies of your data you had requested, which are removed from our storage.
• Who you follow and who follows you, your notifications and the devices registered for push notifications.
• The partners without an account that you logged, and the rolls you logged with them.
• Any rolls still waiting to be validated: they are closed without moving anyone’s ELO.
• Your league trophies and profile borders.
• Your usage analytics data, if you had accepted analytics.

What is kept, with no personal data

A roll belongs to two people. So that your partners’ history and ELO are not erased, this stays, with nothing left that identifies you:

• An anonymous record, “Deleted user”, with your ELO and your win, draw and loss record. It has no name, username, email or photo, and it does not appear in the ranking or in search.
• Rolls already resolved with partners who have an account, with their sessions, submissions and details. In their history they show up under “Deleted user”.
• The “Oss” you gave and the names of the training places you added to the shared list.
• The records of your consents and the blocks and reports you were part of, tied to that anonymous identifier.
